Oddly these 25 Celebrities are Part of the #MeToo Movement

The Me Too movement (or #MeToo movement), with many local and international alternatives, is a movement against sexual harassment and sexual assault.#MeToo spread virally in October 2017 as a hashtag used on social media in an attempt to demonstrate the widespread prevalence of sexual assault and harassment, especially in the workplace. This was met with success that included but was not limited to high-profile posts from several American celebrities. Let us get to know some of them!

#1 Alyssa Milano
American actress, liberal activist, producer, and former singer. She appears in Who’s the Boss?, Melrose Place, Charmed, My Name is Earl, Mistresses, and the Netflix series Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later and her acting career is still strong, with her persona even stronger! Milano has a huge Twitter following, added a sentence to her friend’s message before posting it: “If you’ve been sexually harassed or assaulted, write ‘me too’ as a reply to this tweet.” And she sent it out. “That was basically it,” she said. “I looked down at my daughter, sent the tweet, and went to sleep not knowing it was going to snowball.”
